Congratulations to T Party member Gary Couzens, winner of the 2007 British Fantasy Award for best anthology! Gary edited Extended Play: The Elastic Book of Music, published by Elastic Press.


 
 

The workshop on 24 November 2007 will be at the Paper Moon pub on Blackfriars Road. The nearest Underground is at Southwark and the nearest mainline station is Waterloo. This will be the last formal workshop this year.

Unfortunately, Keith Brooke has had to cancel his talk with The T Party on August 11, due to ill health. The next meeting will be the workshop on August 25.

 
 

The T Party has taken advantage of the Assynt Foundation's special rates for writers' retreats. We are booked into Glencanisp Lodge, which is near Sutherland, in the North-West Highlands of Scotland, for the week beginning 7 June 2008. Deposits of £55 to Dave Gullen, please!

Congratulations to T Party members David Gullen and Martin Owton, whose short story 'The Sea Inside' has been accepted for publication by Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine. It should appear in issue 32, due for publication in October 2007.
